I first found this and when I started to play it Anniyah's whole face lit up. She loves the song and cries when she can't see the video. I tried it on my 15 month old niece and it had the same effect. Every young child I've played it for acts like it's the best thing on Earth. Will it work on your babies? Try it and found out.

I really like that, Blaq.  You're right.. that would be something which is attention grabbing for a toddler...  and it's cute and sweet!

Have you seen "Baby Einstein" videos?  My boys were too old for those when they came out in the late 90s.. but I like them as well.  Lots of colors, classical music, and little ones REALLY respond!!!! (My friend who had toddlers at the time swore by them, and I saw the reactions of the children!)

"Baby Einstein" is made by Disney, and they are quite good... http://www.babyeinstein.com/home/

or the wikipedia write up...

I'm personally not a huge Disney Fan, but these really are good...

I think we have some Baby Einstein tapes but I've never really sat down and watched it. I'm supposed to get something called BabyCanRead once I'm settled here in Virginia.

If you can get ahold of Sesame Street (and I think you're about the right age to rememebr Sesame Street!) THOSE ARE GREAT!

I KICK MYSELF for giving those tapes away!  Oh, gosh, we had Smokey Robinson, singing the letter "U," ... Big Bird is sooooo awesome!  There were so many great cameos by people... Paul Simon, Chevy Chase... I can't recall all of them (it's been too many years), but gawd, the boys LOVED those!!!!  (I did too, but my memories are of the original TV show, and a whole different set of people, circa late 60s!)

You know, I bet you can get those on netflicks (a thought, I don't know)...
