Actually I wonder. If you took a large number of different people from many different ethnic groups. Put them on ships where conditions are so bad, that up to 50% of them would parish. Subject the survivors to a program of extreme hard labor, selective breeding, and torture. I wonder just how strong their descendants might be? It almost sounds like a Darwinian experiment.
Darwin, by the way did not support slavery.

Yeah I have seen blueprints of those slave ships. It is heart breaking to know that people not animals were in there. Dying by the masses.
